University of Waterloo study: Canada should increase support for NBS

A study from the Intact Centre on Climate Adaptation at the University of Waterloo found that the Government of Canada still supports more "grey infrastructure" such as conventional engineering solutions than NBS, despite noting that NBS are more affordable both short and long-term and more effective in managing flooding and erosion.
