Town of Blackfalds Sets Goals for Environmental Stewardship

The Town of Blackfalds has approved a new Environmental Stewardship Strategy (ESS) with a focus on water, stormwater, land, energy, buildings & infrastructure, air and solid waste. The strategy gives staff, community members, and Council the ability to prioritize actions relating to environment and conservation for the next 10 years, and position the Town as a model environmental community, adopting and implementing innovative strategies to protect and enhance the natural environment.
