City of Lethbridge working with UofL on urban naturalization

The City of Lethbridge is working with the Applied Studies Program at University of Lethbridge to naturalize three urban areas. By removing turf and seeding native grasses, this example of a nature-based solution will save on mowing costs at the newly-naturalized areas, while encouraging native species to reestablish, supporting pollinators and providing erosion control during storms.
